I might be biased as a scuba diver, but here goes...

Boracay - a great tropical island in Aklan with fantastic white sand beaches and clear blue water that rival the best in the world! A great place for snorkelling and diving too.
Apo Island - Dumaguete - this island is one of the best diving places. The Balwarte Rocks and Negros Oriental Marine Conservation Park boast of spectacular coral gardens and a great variey of marine life.
Bohol - this historical island is also filled with great beaches, waterfalls, and the world-famous Chocolate Hills (named because of their color and shape)
Camiguin Island - this pear-shaped volcanic island north of Misamis Oriental is famous for ancestral homes that are scattered all over, beautiful beaches and majestic waterfalls.
Olango Island, off Mactan - aside from a breeding place to many species of birds, this island is also a great diving site.
Tubbataha Reef, Sulu Sea - this atoll coral reef in the Sulu Sea is a marine sanctuary protected as Tubbataha Reef National Marine Park. It is considered as the best dive site in the Philippines and the diving dedicated ships that opearte during the "Tubbataha Season" are usually booked years in advance. More than a thousand species can be found on this reef, many are endangered species.
Sagada, Rice terraces - Sagada is a town in the Mountain Province that sits in a limestone valley riddled with over 60 known caves. The Sagada caves feature shimmering underground streams with golden or silvery stalactite and stalagmite formations and cool natural pools inside. It is famous for hanging coffins and burial caves. The Rice Terraces is one of the man made wonders. These are mountains carved by hand into terraces. It's an astounding site.
Mayon Volcano - this most active volcano has a classic symmetrical profile that serves as a backdrop to a pastorale landscape. It is called the volcano with the "perfect cone".
Batanes - this island province located in a typhoon belt also boasts of white white sand beaches, steep mountains, deep canyons and caves (one is said to be enchanted).
Tagaytay - a relaxing cool place which boasts of a lake within a volcano within a lake. There is a popular picnic site overlooking this lake. Once a favorite place of the Pits Group.
